FREQUENTLY Asked Questions
F.A.Q.
Q: Are you mobile?
A: No. We feel we are better able to serve our customers through a static location.
Q: Will you pick up my vehicle?
A: Yes. Within a ten mile radius we will pick up your vehicle and bring it back to you free of charge?
Q: Do you guarantee longevity and quality of results?
A: We do not guarantee longevity and quality of results. While we do our best to exceed expectations, some things cannot be repaired or cleaned to completely remove stains in a vehicle's interior or defects in a vehicle's paint. We will be as straight forward with our customers as we can when we walk around your vehicle and go over areas of concern. We often have a good idea as to what we can do and will work at the very least to achieve those results. Other times a situation is unique to us and we will have to do some research to find a solution to your vehicle's needs. In regards to longevity, we cannot guarantee how long a wax, sealant, or coating will protect your vehicle's paint unless we are consistently maintaining your vehicle's exterior and even the interior of any protectants are applied to the leather, upholstery, and carpets.
Q: What will happen to personal items in my vehicle?
A: It is suggested all personal items you find especially valuable or meaningful to you are removed prior to service. That definitely includes any firearms you may keep in your vehicle (yes, we have found a weapon in a vehicle we have detailed in the past). This will ensure everyone's safety and that nothing gets lost or potentially damaged if we have to handle them to complete service. That also goes for garbage and other waste items you may have in your vehicle. If an excessive amount of garbage and other waste is in your vehicle at the time of service a removal fee will be added to your overall price to account for the time needed to prepare the vehicle to be detailed. All other personal items that are normally kept in the vehicle like umbrellas, extra napkins, loose change, etc. will be put into plastic bag and set back into one of the front or rear passenger seats after services has been completed. We respect your possessions and will make sure they are treated with care while we have your vehicle.
Q: How long will my appointment take?
A: The time required to complete your appointment varies by type of service, size of vehicle being serviced, and severity of the vehicle's condition when it is received. An appointment can last for about an hour for small jobs like scratch reduction and touch up to one or two vehicle panels or over a day to prep a vehicle and install a ceramic coating onto the painted surfaces.
Q: Which forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, and credit cards through Square. Sorry, we do not accept checks.
Q: What if I need a ride somewhere?
A: Within a twelve mile radius, Eagle Custom Detailing will provide a complimentary ride via Uber to your home, work, or somewhere else.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Prices vary based on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the vehicle, what is being done to the vehicle, and the amount of services being performed. Eagle Custom Detailing has a booking site where you can book your appointments, but also create an estimate to give you an idea of what it will cost. https://eaglecustomdetailingllc.booking.detailbookie.com/signup
Q: Do you warranty your ceramic coatings?
A: Eagle Custom Detailing does not formally warranty ceramic coatings we apply. However, Eagle Custom Detailing does stand behind our work. Eagle Custom Detailing requires semiannual maintenance appointments to inspect and ensure the coating is performing as well as it should be. If the coating fails due to no fault of the client, Eagle Custom Detailing will reapply the coating at our cost. However, if maintenance appointments aren’t made or it is determined the client took the vehicle through an automated wash with brushes or it was abused otherwise, the client will be responsible to cover the cost of having the ceramic coating reapplied.
Q: Can I take my vehicle through an automated wash after a ceramic coating has been installed?
A: The short answer is, No. However, if you need to have your vehicle washed in a pinch, only use a BRUSHLESS automated car wash with the most basic wash. The chemicals in the more inclusive options will clog and kill a ceramic coating very, very quickly. Using automated washes with brushes or using the options with waxes and other offerings will result in Eagle Custom Detailing no longer supporting any potential failure or diminished performance of the coating installed on your vehicle.
